Our Heptane Vapor Monitoring Badge comes with detailed instructions, a monitoring record sheet, and an address label. They are designed to provide you with the ability to check exposure levels to Heptane. Returned samples are analyzed at an AIHA (American Industrial Hygiene Association) certified laboratory. All laboratory fees are included.

Current Regulatory Status
OSHA Permissible exposure limit (PEL) for heptane is 500 ppm (2000 milligrams per cubic meter (mg/m(3))) as an 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA) concentration
NIOSH Recommended exposure limit (REL) for heptane is 85 ppm mg/m(3)) as a TWA for up to a 10-hour workday and a 40-hour workweek and 440 ppm (1,800 mg/m(3)) as a 15-minute ceiling limit
ACGIH Threshold limit value (TLV) is 400 ppm mg/m(3)) as a TWA for a normal 8-hour workday and a 40-hour workweek and a short-term exposure limit (STEL) of 500 ppm (2050 mg/m(3)) for periods not to exceed 15 minutes. Exposures at the STEL concentration should not be repeated more than four times a day and should be separated by intervals of at least 60 minutes
