Trichloroethylene, often abbreviated TCE or called trichloroethene, is a solvent used for degreasing metal parts and in some manufacturing processes. EMT's TCE vapor monitoring badge provides laboratory-analyzed exposure data that can be compared with applicable occupational exposure limits.

OSHA Permissible exposure limit (PEL) for trichloroethylene is 100 ppm TWA; 200 ppm Ceiling for 5 min in any 2 hours; 300 ppm Peak
ACGIH Threshold limit value (TLV) is 10 ppm TWA; 25 ppm STEL
